16.7' TEMPEST MARINE CLASSIC 1982, 6 pass, 140, I/O, Reduced Price! Due to recent back surgery on my spine, I can no longer use a beautiful reconditioned boat I bought recently. It is a 1982 Tempest I/O which looks pretty much like it was when it was new. To mentioned a few items: new marine paint, 140 HP Mercruiser which was 100% overhauled and just purrs, a new 9.8 HP Tahatsu 4 stroke trolling motor with 2 hours on it (cost $3000), electric wench, Garlick SS motor mount (paid $400 US for it), new 6' bunk guides, walk plates, new marine carpet, all new gauges, New compass, new Hummingbird. The interior is in excellent shape free of tears. The trailer has new 15" tires, and has been rewired with new lights. I am including a marine fire extinguisher, 8 bumper guards, launch rope, 2 new wooden paddles, and a first aid box.I regretfully need to sell this before Winter sets in so I am negotiable on the price. The cost of the restoration was over $4000. so I think its a really attractive buy for someone looking for a nice boat. I will entertain any reasonable offer., $4750.
